Seth Curry 30 Points Full Highlights (6/2/2021)
Seth Curry thinks that no one will notice the girth of his headband. He thinks that he can just walk out there on the court, in the playoffs, all the cameras pointed at him, with that laughably enormous fabric girdle perched atop his head and everyone will be cool with it. That is what he is thinking, I know this because his actions (of donning such a comical forehead-belt) and demeanor have indicated his exact thought process. He wouldn't be wearing it if he didn't think he could get away with it.
Well, he may have fooled the general NBA viewership, but he has not fooled DownToBuck, because DownToBuck's mom didn't raise no fool. And DownToBuck has been observing the state of Curry's hairline throughout his entire career, so he knows EXACTLY what the headband is hiding. Or rather, what it's NOT hiding, because Curry's hairline is totally screwed and his headband shenanigans are nothing but a feeble attempt to conceal from the world a total lack of follicles on certain parts of his head.
I can't believe that he's getting away with it. Remember when LeBron tried something like this? Maybe he tricked some people initially, but the truth was quickly made evident, and he was clowned. Now, speaking as a fellow male whose hair maybe isn't quite as thick as it used to be, jokes about hair loss are not super tasteful. But that doesn't mean that dudes should just be allowed to trick everyone with gigantic headbands covering up their fiveheads.
You have to own it. You have to face the world proudly and say "I'm going bald, but that does not diminish my worth as a person!". I say that all the time. Walking down the street, at the grocery store, watching the NBA in my apartment, I don't shy away from my inferior hair genetics. Curry is a baller no matter if he has a perfect hairline like Chandler Hutchison or is tragically bald like Jevon Carter in college. And I'm the world's preeminent highlight maker even with a hairline that is in the beginning stages of trying to make an escape off the top of my head.
Oh yeah, and he scored 30 points tonight, finishing off the (fully-haired) Wizards without the help of Joel Embiid. But man, did you see that headband? What a joke.
