Unboxing the SONY X80J 4K HDR LED with Google TV | SONY Malaysia
The SONY X80J 4K HDR LED with Google TV’s soundscape has been remodelled to sound more real and immersive, just like in real life.
Ready to get started on an entrancing home movie experience? Then let’s unbox it together with this step-by-step guide and set up your SONY X80J 4K HDR LED.
*This applies to 55” to 75” models only.
1. Remove the plastic straps from the outside of the box.
2. Open the box and remove the top contents.
3. Please review and follow the Setup Guide and Reference Guide before we begin. This assembly process requires two people.
4. Take the accessory bag containing screws, remote, additional accessories, and manuals out from the box.
5. Remove Stand 1 (SB1) and Stand 2 (SB2).
6. Put the accessories on the floor to see if everything is available:

📦 Power Cable
📦 Remote
📦 Stand 1 (SB1)
📦 Stand 2 (SB2)
📦 Batteries
📦 Power Cable
📦 Wall Mount Spacers (VS)
📦 Cable Management Clips (CL)
7. Remove the top foam.
8. 📤 Lift the box off the TV.
9. Remove foam inserts from both sides.
10. Pull each of the three tabs up to be flush with the panel at the bottom.
11. Pull both sides of the full bottom panel down to lay flat.
12. Remove the plastic covering the TV.
13. This next step requires two people. Make sure the stands are within reach before proceeding.
14. Avoid leaving fingerprints by bracing the top and bottom of the TV without grabbing the screen.
15. The second person removes the bottom foam.
16. Pull back the plastic to reveal the stand slot.
17. Lift one side up and slide the stand into place.
18. Continue to brace the top of the TV and repeat this on the other side.
19. Two people should lift the TV to a flat, stable surface. To avoid damaging it, please take caution not to squeeze the screen when lifting.
20. Follow the Step Guide to plug in the cords to their correct outlets.
21. When lifting your TV to the cabinet, remember not to squeeze the screen.
22. Plug in the power cord.
23. Attach the cable management clips (CL).
24. Route the power cord through the cable management clips.
25. Open the bottom of the remote to insert batteries.
