Abraham Ulrikab and Human Zoos
Abraham Ulrikab was an Inuk man who was displayed in a human zoo in the 1880s, along with his friends and family. His diaries, written in Inuktitut and translated into German by Moravian missionaries, provide a rare insight into his life on exhibit.
