Even though your profile is in a very early stage, you can start sending proposals from the very beginning.
You have 60 connects that you can use per month. That means you can apply up to 30 jobs each month. If you send 1 or 2 proposals per day, the Upwork system will notice your activity and will propose you higher opportunity by getting you more clients.
If you run out of connects, you can use your friend’s profile and send more proposals.
Being aware of the Upwork algorithm is crucial for a successful freelancer who is dependent on this platform.
You may find 5 to 10 qualified leads every day for your niche.
Use your 60 connects and send proposals for the next 6/7 days. After sending all those proposals, you might get some reviews. Then, do the same with your friend’s profile.
After those 12 days, you can merge both profiles and start an Upwork agency. Being a member of an agency will give you free connects that you can use to send proposals. The number of the extra connects is about 60 – 70 and it will give you another week of sending proposals.
After a week the connects from the previous profile will be renewed.
The more friends you have in the agency, the more proposals you will be able to send. That will allow you to be a part of this ongoing cycle of a constant ability to send proposals legally without creating any fake profile or doing anything against their policies.
