We are going to use GCP (GKE – managed Kubernetes service by google), but it is not mandatory. You can use any other Kubernetes cluster, but in this case you have to make some changes in auth for connection to AWS (EKS) or Azure (AKS). Principals will be the same
In our course we are going to use Jenkins declarative pipelines. But if you like the logic – feel free to use it and convert to gitlabci, circleci, bamboo, team city or any other ci-cd tool.
