Nuclear Assault - Surgery - Guitar Cover (+Tabs)
Happy Sunday everyone, here’s another old school Nuclear Assault track for you!
This song does not get as much love as the others on the album and has seldom been played live, but some footage from a gig in Sweden in 1989 helped me figure this one out for you.
Tone wise, building on my previous video, I initially went for a JCM 800 sim, but looking at live footage, it seems they were using earlier models, probably a Plexi of sorts, so I used Positive Grid’s 1979 Plexi HG for a great result. Once again, tone down the gain as their sound does not have as much distortion as you would first guess.
