Excel VBA - Email my Order - This is a very basic application to get started with. In this article I'll show you to create and Excel Application that you can send to your clients or colleagues and have them select items they need to order and click a button that sends the order to you.
I have used a similar application to this for years now to collect orders from many departments within a hospital. You send them the file that they add to their desktop and when they need to order all that is necessary is to open it add the items from the dropdown list and click the button to send it to you.
There are many other uses for this and it is easy to customize to suit your needs.
Note: The client needs to have a compatible version of Excel installed and an email client installed.
The possibilities for this application are greater than what I have used it for. Let me know the uses for which you adapt this program.
It consists of 2 sheets one for the order form and one that contains a list of all the items to be ordered. The order sheet has a scroll button to adjust the size of the order form and dependent drop down data validation for ease of selection.
