TAS = The Animated Series
Here’s what the sneak peeks menu to the Johnny and the Sprites: The Animated Series DVD release, Happy New Year! would look like if it was real in real life
Here are the titles that appear on this menu:
First page:
Pinocchio: 70th Anniversary Platinum Edition
Hannah Montana: The Movie
My Friends Tigger and Pooh: And A Musical Too
Handy Manny: Manny’s Green Team
Space Buddies
Schoolhouse Rock! Earth
Disney Movie Rewards
Second page:
Hatching Pete/Dadnapped Double Feature
Bolt
Bunnytown: Hello Bunnies
Hannah Montana: The Complete 1st Season
Handy Manny: Manny’s Pet Roundup
Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure
Imagination Movers on Playhouse Disney
NOTE: Fake/fanmade. As much as it makes sense having the theatrical trailer to Hannah Montana: The Movie and the trailer to Handy Manny: Manny’s Green Team as some of the opening previews on here, it also makes sense having the trailers to Hatching Pete/Dadnapped Double Feature, Hannah Montana: The Complete 1st Season and Handy Manny: Manny’s Pet Roundup as some of the extra previews on here, because for the same reasons it made sense having the first two trailers on here, so it all makes perfect sense here and this would be the very last appearance of the trailer to Hatching Pete/Dadnapped Double Feature before it officially debuted 4 days later on January 6, 2009 (the official first one to use it is the January 6, 2009 version of Hannah Montana: Keeping it Real), and also, this would be one of the very final regular appearances of the trailer to Handy Manny: Manny’s Pet Roundup as they would retire next week on January 13, 2009 (the occasional appearances of that trailer would run from January 20-March 31, 2009 with the special late appearances running from April 7-May 26, 2009)
NOTE #2: Do you want to know what else could’ve made sense? If the trailers to Phineas and Ferb: The Fast and the Phineas, Little Einsteins: The Christmas Wish, The Nightmare Before Christmas: Collector’s Edition, Hannah Montana: Keeping it Real and Disney DVD Games, along with the Playhouse Disney promo to Handy Manny and the Disney Channel promo to Hannah Montana were on here, because not only is Mitchell Musso in this adaptation as Johnny, but Christmas and New Years are Winter holidays again, also, this would use the Handy Manny art style too, so that would’ve worked, but there is no more room to include all of those previews on here sadly. But hey, it still made sense for the theatrical trailer to Hannah Montana: The Movie and the trailers to Handy Manny: Manny’s Green Team, Hatching Pete/Dadnapped Double Feature, Hannah Montana: The Complete 1st Season and Handy Manny: Manny’s Pet Roundup on here though
NOTE #3: To kick off the New Year, this and the previous video are to commemorate with the fact that today is officially 2025 and it’s New Years Day, so happy New Years Day everybody
And @firstzachattackdvdblu-rayo3142, if you’re watching this, this video is for you. If you have figured out the only appearance of the theatrical trailer to Hannah Montana: The Movie before June 2008 is (which will possibly be a April 2008 title), what would the first Johnny and the Sprites: The Animated Series DVD release be (outside of the pilot DVD releases)? If you know, then let me know right here, but if you don’t know, then here’s my hint: Think about anywhere around January 2008 as when the show officially premiered on TV
