RUSSIAN-ISRAEL FILMMAKERS MEET UP
On July 8 THE RUSSIAN PAVILION at the Festival de Cannes hosted RUSSIAN-ISRAEL FILMMAKERS MEET UP panel discussion, the key event at our pavilion. The meeting united Russian and Israeli producers talking about the prospects for future cooperation, the process of collaborative filmmaking and much more.
Who attended the meeting? Among the Israeli producers: the Director of the Cinematography Department of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Israel Eti Koen, the Head of the Israeli Film Fund Liza Shiloch Uzrad, the Director of the Jerusalem Film Foundation Yoram Honig, the Director of the Jerusalem Film Laboratory Aurit Zamir, the Director of the Rabinovich Film Fund Osnat Bukoftzer, the Director of the Gesher Film Fund Ziv Naveh and the director of the Sam Spiegel School of Film and Television Dana Blankstein Cohen. The Russian side was represented by the producers Alexander Rodnyansky, Artyom Vasiliev, Natalya Drozd, Dmitry Litvinov, Victoria Lupik, Tamara Bogdanova, Maria Vogt and Mikhail Idov.
Lior Sasson, Development Director of the Israeli Film Foundation, and Evgenia Markova, Head of ROSKINO, moderated the discussion.
