In this video we 3D print a large prototype of a subwoofer for Brian's Custom Audio. The prototype is 1000 mm long and is 3D printed with a 0.8 mm nozzle, a 0.6 mm layer height, 6% infill and took less than 70 hours to print.
The 3D printed part is used as a fitting mould before the actual subwoofer is made. Within days the client had a full size prototype and was able to do the fitting test a few days after the design was made. Normally this would have taken weeks.
