The Synco Xtalk X5 is a cutting-edge 2.4GHz wireless intercom system designed specifically for video production environments. Unlike traditional systems that rely on a central hub or master unit, the Xtalk X5 features a master-free technology that allows any headset to become the host. This flexibility eliminates the need for a stationary setup, giving teams the freedom to move and communicate without constraints.
In addition, it supports full-duplex communication, meaning users can speak and listen simultaneously, just like a phone conversation. This feature is crucial in high-pressure environments where quick and clear exchanges are necessary.
According to Synco, the transmission range should be 350m or 1100ft and 700m or 2300ft of circular range. Each unit features a 3.5mm port to physically connect it with a camera or audio recorder to monitor sound from these devices on-location without needing a second pair of earbuds. Besides acoustic echo cancellation, the Xtalk series also comes with noise cancellation.
