Hello and welcome to Lego Loft. I'm Stacks and today we'll be taking a look at the difference between the original LEGO shark and the new 2015 version. So this is the shark we've got with a recent set but it's quite different from the one on the box. This one has a different face with different eyes. What's that all about? Curiouser and curiouser. What's going on? So here are our three LEGO sharks, the slightly older one, the brand new one and the original one. Now this is essentially the one that's been around for many years. It's not quite the one from 1989 like this one but it's essentially based on the same shape. You can see the different colours that they have. The greys have changed over the years with LEGO. It's the same shape, the same shape tail fin and the shape of the fins on the top and the sides, they are the same as well. A slight difference in the mould if you look at the bottom. Just very slightly different. Here's the old face on the old one and it looks lie they've put the new face on the new one. It clips into three different positions. Whereas this one you cam position in any way you like and it just holds there. I prefer the eye on the old one to be quite honest with you. The new one looks evil whereas the old one could be evil but it could be a good guy if you wanted it to be. This is the brand new one for 2015, it has gills and the fins are a different shape. It's the same size and similar shape but there is a little more shaping on it. A little bit more thought has went into it. On the bottom you can see you could probably fit that onto somewhere where you had more studs. Which do you prefer? Comment below and let us know.
