The Story of Umbra - Clavicus Vile's Daedric Shrine Quest - The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion EXPLAINED
In today's video, we go through and discuss the story of umbra which takes place at Clavicus Vile's Daedric Shrine Quest in the elder scrolls 4 oblivion. We approach the shrine and pay 500 gold. Here, the Daedric prince tasks us with finding the sword and person named Umbra. We begin our search at Pell's Gate. Here, we speak with Irroke the Wide who tells us Umbra, aka, Lenwin, is held up in the Ayleid Ruin of Vindasel. We go down there and are faced with options. We can either fight her or make peace and leave. If we choose to leave, we return back to Clavicus and receive no reward, yet no penalty. If we choose to fight her, best her in combat and take the sword, we can return back to the shrine. With this outcome, we can either choose to return the sword where we're rewarded with The Masque of Clavicus Vile, or, we can keep the Sword and Umbra itself will be our reward.
