Function overloading in C++ is an object-oriented programming feature in which two or more functions with the same name but different parameters are used. Object Oriented Programming is a concept in C++ (also known as OOPS). In OOPS, there are various properties, one of which is function overloading. Functional Overloading is a property that allows two or more functions to share the same name but not the same set of arguments.
It is one of the most noticeable aspects of C++. Compile-time polymorphism can also be used to describe function overloading.
