Let’s go back to the beginning of Instagram and Facebook. Why were these platforms created?
They started as a social network. An online space to share and keep up to date with your friends and family.
The first word of “social media” is literally SOCIAL.
We need to go back to basics and start connecting with our audience again.
In order to do this I want you to get your ass on camera more and really focus on speaking to that one person on the other side of the camera. Ya, you may have hundreds or even thousands of viewers watching your content but I want you to treat the video like it’s an intimate message between you and one other person.
Stop saying phrases like “hey guys”. If you make it more personal, then the people watching your content will feel like the video is made for them.
You will really start creating connections and building a relationship with your followers which is what it’s all about.
Stop worrying about going viral and start worrying about establishing relationships. Sales will come from those connections before a random stranger hires your or buys off of you.
