OSOMAALO
Osomaalo is the name given to the Ijeshas, who are the indigenes of Ilesha town of Osun State, Nigeria. Osomaalo means, 'I will squat'. In the ancient days, the Ijeshas used to lure people to buy their left over goods on credit with the unwritten agreement to pay at any given time. They would thereafter be on the lookout to be sure the customer has used the item and then go to their house the following day to ask for the debt In the bid to forcefully collect their money, they will SQUAT in the debtor's house and remain their until the debtor is shamed and get them their money at any cost.
