Add Network Ports without Local AC Power: Replace PoE Switch with PoE Powered Switch
Both PoE Switch and PoE powered switch can be deployed to extend another 100 meters network without breaking IEEE802.3. You still need an external power source to power the common switch. While the powered switch is deployed, the power will be sent from the center inline. There is no need for an additional power source. The PoE-powered switch can work with both PoE or non-PoE devices. If non-PoE devices are attached to one of the PoE ports, the switch will only supply the data for that port, working exactly the same as a regular switch.
