After two long years of searching extensively for this exoplanet candidate it has finally been found and deemed confirmed.. I was so excited at the end I wanted to jump out my seat it was worth the two years of planning and research and also setbacks into the investigation but we finally got it! I wanna give a huge shoutout to @martzobservatory into letting me use the 24 inch telescope to confirm the exoplanet on Monday 22nd, 2024. Thanks everyone who helped make this possible! We hope to confirm more exoplanets in the future with the Martz Kohl Observatory and have a lot of fun in the process! Radius: 0.31 Rjup (roughly size of a Small Neptunian sized object)
Mass: 2.54 times that of the Earth
Orbital distance: 0.01AU (DANGEROUSLY CLOSE!)
Orbital Period: 0.573 Days (13.7 hour orbital period)
Star Specs:
Radius: 0.42 less than the sun
Mass: 0.41 less than the sun
Surface gravity: 4.81 times that of the sun, (unusually high for a red dwarf star)
Luminosity: 0.02% less than the sun!
Visual Magnitude: 13.2 V 14.3 Infrared/ or Red band filter
