Aunt Bessie (Keaton) needs a bone marrow transplant, and the donor may need to be her teenage nephew, Hank (diCaprio), who barely knows her. Hank has recently been in a mental institution for burning down his family's house and doesn't want to do it. But his mother -- Bessie's sister, Lee (Streep) -- insists they travel to Florida to see Bessie. It's an awkward first day. With Hal Scardino as the younger son, Charlie, who gets his moment in this scene. Based on the play by Scott McPherson, who also wrote the screenplay; music by Rachel Portman, directed by Jerry Zaks, 1996.
