Tori and Toy fell in love with Mick Crocodile Dundee, the character and the movie. They were a bit frustrated with the abrupt ending of the first movie and could not wait to see where the story went in the sequel.
"Crocodile Dundee II," directed by John Cornell and released in 1988, is the adventurous sequel to the original hit film "Crocodile Dundee." The movie stars Paul Hogan as the charismatic Australian bushman Mick Dundee and Linda Kozlowski as his girlfriend, New York journalist Sue Charlton. The story begins in New York City, where Mick and Sue are living happily until Sue's ex-husband, a journalist, sends her evidence of a drug cartel's activities, putting her life in danger.
When Sue is kidnapped by the ruthless drug lord Rico (Hechter Ubarry), Mick uses his outback survival skills to rescue her. The action then shifts to the Australian Outback, where Mick takes Sue to his homeland to protect her from the cartel. In the rugged and treacherous terrain of the Outback, Mick employs his resourcefulness and deep knowledge of the wilderness to outwit the dangerous criminals. "Crocodile Dundee II" features thrilling action sequences, comedic moments, and the stunning landscapes of Australia. The film is celebrated for its blend of humor, romance, and adventure, as well as the undeniable chemistry between Hogan and Kozlowski.
