At Monoprice, we'll help you pick the perfect wall mount for you! There are 3 main types of wall mounts: Fixed, Tilt, and Full Motion.
A fixed wall mount is great if you're mounting your TV eye level, you know exactly where you'll be mounting your TV and you won't be moving it. These are the most inexpensive mounts and very easy to set up. They sit slim with the wall for a clean, simple look.
If you're mounting your TV higher than eye level a Tilt mount may be right for you. These types of mounts can be tilted to reduce ambient light glare on your TV and maintain an optimum viewing angle.
Lastly, a Full Motion mount is perfect when you want the most flexibility out of your mount. You'll want this type of mount if you are corner or recessed wall mounting, need multiple viewing areas, want easy access to your wires and cables, or want to reduce glare from windows or lights in the room. These mounts tilt, swivel, rotate, and extend to varying degrees depending on the specific mount. A Full Motion mount is also great for maintaining your optimum viewing angle no matter where you are in the room. Simply angle the mount to where you want it while you're watching TV and then when you're done, you can move it flat against the wall again.
