This custom 1951 Mercury convertible featured on AutoHunter Cinema is powered by a 1949 Cadillac’s V8 that’s been modified with quad 2-barrel carburetors and a Horne intake manifold. Originally customized for Buck Owens, a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and a co-host of the TV show "Hee Haw," this Mercury comes with a 45-rpm record player with Owens' records as well as memorabilia from Owens' “Hee Haw” co-host Roy Clark and trophies from various Texas car shows. It sold at the Barrett-Jackson 2024 Scottsdale Auction for $55,000.
