Recipe: Pav Bhaji
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Serves: 3-4
Ingredients:
4 potatoes
2 cups mixed chopped vegetables (carrots, beet root, beans, green peas)
1 onion, chopped
4 tomatoes, chopped
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder
2 tbsp pav bhaji masala
1/2 cup minced onions
1/2 cup minced capsicum
Salt to taste
Pav to serve
Butter as required
Method:
Pressure cook the diced vegetables with 1 cup water and 1 tsp salt for 3 whistles.
Mash the vegetables well .
Heat the butter in a pan at the chopped onions and add the chopped capsicum. Sauté till golden. Add the red chilli powder and Pav Bhaji masala. Mix well and add mashed vegetables.
Stir well. Cook for a few minutes. Serve with buttered Pavs.
