The reality of the Panamerican highway, the sketchiest bridge we ever have to face, a 2 dollars meal, 37+ tunnels, 30 years old birthday and arriving in our favourite region of this world tour journey so far!
Last week we completed our journey through beautiful Ecuador. We loved that country a lot and despite being a bit sad to leave we were so curious to discover what Peru has to offer. And despite a slow start on the Panamerican highway, what we discovered when we eventually were able to leave the coastal main road was beyond every expectations we had. A world like no other, one of the nicest road to date, its people and its dangers like this bridge barely holding together. Do we cross or not? Do you risk you house for a 4 hours detour? Big question indeed. This episode we also celebrate a big milestone for Mathilde: her 30th birthday. What a time and place to enter the next decade.
Next week, we explore the Cordillera Blanca, this massive ice-capped mountain range unique in the world. Keep travelling around the world with us and subscribe to the channel to be sure you do not miss the countries to come!
Until next week, take care,
Mathilde & Nick
