Reliving The War takes a look at the "Monday Night War" era of professional wrestling. With WCW Nitro and WWF Raw is War airing at the same time every Monday night, fans had to make a choice and decide which show they would watch. The WWF and WCW tried to put on the best events possible and a TV ratings battle would take place, resulting in the most memorable time periods in pro wrestling history.
It's the night after the 1998 Royal Rumble and Mike Tyson is on Raw. Vince McMahon has a big announcement to make regarding Tyson but the announcement gets interrupted by Stone Cold Steve Austin. Also on Raw D-Generation X try to find The Undertaker and the faction has a BBQ in the middle of the ring.
On WCW Nitro everyone gets ready for the 1998 Souled Out PPV taking place later in the week. Macho Man Randy Savage continues to have problems with the nWo and it looks like thing are going to boil over, Bret Hart and Ric Flair have an in-ring meeting before their big PPV match, and Hollywood Hogan wrestles The Giant in the main event.
