Making Jackrabbit get a move on - optimizing OAK repository search
– Olaf Jentsch

Repository search is a core feature of Jackrabbit and crucial for AEM performance as AEM itself makes heavy use of queries for the application to function. Up to CRX2 one was fine with the default internal standard indexes and configuration. With Jackrabbit OAK it has become a different game, requiring in-depth analysis and tuning of queries and indexes to re-gain application performance. In this session we will report on experiences from customer projects and demonstrate best practices for optimizing OAK repository search performance.
