NIXX SAINT - Sling Shot (Daytona USA 2 Cover Remix)
My full cover remix of the song 'Sling Shot' from the Sega arcade classic Daytona USA 2: Battle on the Edge, which plays during the beginner course. Gave in a new feel/arrangement to make it sound different, kinda like how the console versions of Daytona USA were like on the Saturn and Dreamcast and changed the guitar solo completely to something I'd personally prefer. Also added a cover of an unused beginner ending theme, which plays after. The original version had distorted vocals which is what I quickly attempted to do, but I would've liked to maybe mess with the instruments a bit more, but this was a last minute decision on me and I recorded the vocals a few hours before uploading this.
Music originally composed by Fumio Ito. There's to some degree a Sonic influence, but more so a feel I think would represent Sega in this arrangement.
Also the original song is featured in Like a Dragon Gaiden in the renamed 'Sega Racing Classic 2'.
