M1 iPad Pro 2021 (1 Month later)
The M1 iPad Pro 2021 is undoubtedly the most powerful tablet on the market today. In 2020 we had a decent challenge from Samsung with the Galaxy Tab S7+ but even then the iPad Pro 2020 was still more capable when it comes to having apps that are actually optimised for specific tablet usage.

With the launch of the M1 #iPadPro2021, Apple pushed the boundaries even further with the M1 Processor.
And they also added an incredible Liquid Retina XDR display (Mini-LED) to finally rival the competition in that area.
I was looking forward to the #iPadPro2021 more than any other Apple product. Mainly because my previous iPad was fairly ancient. But I was disappointed with the news that iPadOS15 would still not have any support for Pro apps. The iPadOS launched earlier in June at Apple’s Developer Conference, WWDC 2021 had many hopes for the iPad Pro 2021, mainly because of Apple’s great job on the hardware side of things.
I have been using the iPadOS15 Beta version but the difference doesn't seem to allow much more from a performance perspective.
I mean, why else put an M1 chip on the iPad Pro if not to be able to run more processor intensive applications like Photoshop, FinalCut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro for example?
It turns out the answer to that is manufacturing efficiency. Don’t get me wrong I still believe Apple will eventually get there but let’s face it, there is no business reason to do it as that would cannibalise its own MacBook sales.
So I have had no choice but to accept the iPad Pro 2021 for what it is and try to take advantage of what it does offer today. So join me in finding out how I got on!
