A case has been filed against Natasha Danish, a female driver involved in a accident near Karsaz, Karachi, which resulted in the life lost of Aamna Arif (26) and Imran Arif (60), and injured five others. The accident occurred when Natasha's vehicle collided with multiple vehicles near the Pakistan Maritime Museum. The deceased and injured were taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for formalities and treatment.
The FIR, filed by Imtiaz Arif, the brother of the deceased, alleges culpable homicide and negligence against Natasha, citing her "negligence, freewheeling, and speeding" as the cause of the accident. Natasha, who claimed her car lost control, is under investigation, with blood samples taken for medical examination. The police are also reviewing CCTV footage and have impounded her vehicle. Natasha, who resides in KDA Scheme-I, sustained a head injury and is undergoing medical tests at JPMC. Her husband mentioned she takes medication for mental stress. The bodies of the deceased were moved to Edhi mortuary, with their funeral prayers scheduled after Asr prayers.
