A Rainy Night of Street Photography | Sony A7III | 85mm f1.8
In true fashion for Vancouver it was a rainy night of street photography for me and @rolandkaufmann. This was the first street photography session on a rainy night for both of us so we were pretty excited about it. I brought my 85mm 1.8 as my main lens this time around to give myself a bit of a challenge. Plus, its the only lens I have with that large of an aperture. The 85mm was amazing in certain situations and a bit of a challenge in others but I was very happy with how all the images turned out on this shoot!
Since this was my first night street photography shoot I thought that I would also challenge myself with the way that I edited the images I took. I tried to go for a more stylized cinematic vibe by adding more greens to the images. I saw similar tones in a music video a week ago and thought it would be a fun challenge to try and bring that into the edits.
