Earlier this year (April 2018), PayPal and Safaricom announced a collaboration that would allow Mpesa Users to transact from PayPal to Mpesa and Vice Versa.
In this video, I will show you how to send or withdraw money from your PayPal account to Mpesa.
Previously, only Equity bank had a relationship with PayPal and this is a game changer.
You can easily withdraw your PayPal funds to Mpesa and have your money in a couple of hours.
The only downside to this, (at the time of writing this) is that it takes roughly 2-72 hours to get your funds on Mpesa.
This depends on the amounts your transacting and weekends and holidays also influence how fast you get your money.
In the transaction I did, I got my funds deposited in Mpesa in 2 hours 1 minute.
