RV Solar Panel on a Grand Design RV | Country Camper
Grand Design RV is introducing roof mounted solar panels as a standard option on Transcend Xplor Travel Trailers. Roof mounted solar panels allow you to camp off of the grid and increase your power reserves for boondocking adventures. The roof mounted solar panel is currently 165 watts and paired with a 25 amp solar controller in the wet bay. Grand Design RV wired the roof mounted solar panel so that a second solar panel can be added to increase your power reserve capacity. Depending on your solar and battery setup, you can now extend your camping regardless if you are plugged in at a traditional campsite or dry camping at a national park or state forest.
