Intro to the Series. Utah's Skyline Drive. One of the Highest Roads in America. Arapeen ATV trail #1
The Arapeen OHV Trail system is located in south central Utah on the Manti-La Sal National Forest. Over 600 miles of ATV and 4X4 routes are included in the system.
The backbone of the system is the scenic South Skyline Drive which is a rugged 4X4 experience for most of its 58-mile length from Utah Highway 31 on the north to the Fish Lake National Forest boundary on the south
The elevation of this scenic road ranges from 9,000 to 10,935 feet above sea level, making it one of the highest roads in America.
This is a great family trail, as most of the road can be driven by riders of varying abilities. The whole drive takes around 3 and a half hours without stops.
In this video series, we’ll ride the entire trail. From the beginning at highway 31 above Fairview, to the Manti La Sal boundary above Mayfield.
We will show the drive-in sections, highlighting the best scenery and scenic stops along the route. This series offers you a guide to planning your own trip to the incredible Arapeen trail system.
This video series has eight parts, and we hope it inspires you to get out and enjoy the unique beauty the trails provide. This is the intro to the video series.
