In this tutorial we'll learn how to do a Light Flickering effect in Blender | Tutorial


Steps to follow :
1. Select the Light Source
2. Create a New Material
3. Replace the Principled BSDF shader with the emmision shader by pressing Shift+S
4. Increase the Strength value and change the color of the emission shader
5. Go to the first frame and insert a keyframe to that strength value
6. Go to the last frame, set the strength value to zero and insert another keyframe
7. Now go to the Graph editor
8. Select the Default Value
9. Go to the Modifiers and add a noise modifier
10. Tweak the Scale & Strength values accordingly

Thats how you get the Light Flickering effect in Blender. You can even do it with a Point Light, an Area Light or even a Spot light to make your scene more dramatic.
