In this tutorial, you’ll learn some Google Sheets formulas you can use to automate parts of your link building.
The example template we’ll be building will be to kick off a guest posting campaign in 15-minutes. In order to do that, you’ll need three data points.
The URL or domain of the prospect
Someone’s first name
and their last name.
You’ll learn which tools to use to acquire these data points within just a couple of minutes.
Once you have them, it’s time to create your own Google Sheets template and start getting backlinks.
If you’re an Ahrefs user, you can copy the sheet to your own Google Drive, follow the instructions on the Instructions tab and make reference to this video for specific steps.
Otherwise, you can follow along with the tutorial to set up Google Sheets for a guest posting campaign.
When you’re done, you’ll have a nice list of websites, names and email addresses you can add to your favorite outreach tool and start building some backlinks.
The best part is: you’ll be able to apply your Google Sheets knowledge to build other templates for link building in the future.
