Chinese educator gains fame in Kyrgyzstan
Ma Lei, a Han ethnic from northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is in charge of a language and culture promotion organization,the Confucius Institute at Kyrgyz National University.
In Ma's eyes, the life in Kyrgyzstan at first wasn't going well. He knew little about the official language Russian or the local language Kyrgyz.
By learning the languager from TV, newspaper and colleagues, three years later, Ma spoke fluent Kyrgyz and beccame a Kyrgyzstan hand.
