My OBS Microphone Settings for The Rode Podmic | A OBS Settings Tutorial For Recording and Streaming
Just an update video on my OBS settings for Twitch streaming. I go over the best settings I use for my Rode Podmic and how I get my mic to sound louder and clearer. This video won't be going in depth about each part of the signal chain but rather just show what is being used in it. The Rode Podmic is paired with Focusrite Scarlet Solo 3rd Gen audio interface along with e Klark Teknik CM-1 Mic Booster. Please note that these are settings that work for my current set-up, and if your set-up varies from mine you will need to adjust your settings as necessary. Hopefully this tutorial helps you sound cleaner, louder, and crispier in your recording and Twitch streams!
The audio that you hear in the Set-Up portion of the video is directly from OBS and is unedited with nothing applied in post. So this should give you an idea how the microphone sounds like when recorded or when live.
