Who knew it was Her ineffable plan all along to dollify the Ineffable Husbands?? aha ha, just kidding… unless?? 😇
HELLO! I am so excited to be sharing with you all my OOAK customized Aziraphale & Crowley dolls from Good Omens! This was a massive project and labour of love that took about a month and a half of work (most of it being extremely detailed, miniature stuff -- so can I please hear a wahoo because this, with the bonus of editing this video for the past several weeks, have driven me practically insane).
Good Omens quite literally saved 2019, and all years thereafter (at least until the “Big One” when Heaven and Hell decide to go after it again, though I don’t suppose that will be in my lifetime). The show means so much to me, not just as a fan-fucking-tastic piece of entertainment, but also for the wonderful community that has arisen and grown ever stronger from the Good Omens universe. So, thank you Mr. Gaiman and Mr. Pratchett. You’ve brought together so many people over a mutual love for what makes us all human, even for those that are technically ethereal or occult.
I am in no way, shape, or form a “professional doll customizer.” Like all my videos, this was just an immensely entertaining and creatively fulfilling way to funnel all of my emotions from this summer regarding Good Omens into something tangible and real. I know some people think that my dolls look creepy or too stylized, but as all of my creations are my children, they are perfect in my eyes and all I ask is that you respect that. (Forreal, if you don’t like ‘em, just press the back button lmao).
As promised, I’ve provided some links to proper doll customization videos below that may help you if you decide to embark on your own OOAK quest!
As a bonus, I am selling linocut prints of my “Guardians of Eden” design on my Etsy! Michael Sheen on Twitter approves of them with an ecstatic WOW!!! (https://www.etsy.com/listing/73507921...)
Please feel free to follow me on my tumblr so that we can both yell incoherently about gomens for eternnniiitttyyyyyyy
Thank you for your support, and I’ll see you with a new video soon my just-enough-of-a-bastard-to-be-worth-knowing-angels and deep-down-just-a-little-bit-of-a-good-person-demons~
To the world 🥂✨,
xxLaura
