install Depends
sudo apt-get install snmp php-gd php-ldap php-xml rrdtool apache2 mysql-server php
grant access to timezone
GRANT SELECT ON mysql.time_zone_name TO cacti@localhost IDENTIFIED BY 'cacti';
Import timezone details into SQL
mysql_tzinfo_to_sql /usr/share/zoneinfo | mysql -u root -p mysql
