Finally done. That's my last Sonic story video, at least until Shadow Generations. I've literally been holding on to these thoughts since the game first came out. Glad to get it out.

Silly me, thinking this would be a shorter video since little happens in this game's story. Thankfully this will probably be my last really big video for a while. I need a break.

Gotta say, I like Sage more now after revisiting this story. While her arc is totally botched, from here there could be some good stuff. If they do a story about Eggman wanting to hold on to her, unable to let go, and she's in pain or distress being revived somehow. But Eggman doesn't care, he wants to keep her around. And at the end he has to learn to let go and accept her loss. That could be quite good. I don't like doing these things with Eggman, but if we're gonna do it, let's do it right.

Alternatively, having her around as a recurring Eggman minion could be fun. Due to the events of Frontiers, she could be a really friendly villain. She's like a boss in a game, and she waves at Sonic with a smile saying, "Father has commanded me to destroy you. But according to my simulations, there is a near-zero percent chance of success." Then Sonic raises an eyebrow with a smirk, "Near-zero?" Sage smiles and nods. "Yes. No matter how slim the odds, there is always a chance. So I will do my best. I hope you will as well." Sonic smiles and gets ready, "Alright. Let's do it!"

That could lead to a lot of fun interactions like that. At least she's not as bad as Silver, where his initial story and arc fail and then he's brought back in the most stupid and contrived way ever that directly contradicts the point of his story.

btw, I know there are more similarities between Sage and Rei. But those are Eva spoilers. Shhh...

These videos are way more fun to make when I make a lot of jokes. I'm gonna keep doing that. Though I think that one Amy joke is going to put a hit squad on me lol. How dare I not have a simplistic binary view on these things.
