My First Impressions of Vantage? That's a tough one. I love the character design, and I'm a sucker for snipers. I can't be the only one! Yet, what's at stake is the fate of the image of this character's value at the highest level. We all know Mirage can be fun to play, but it's also known that the character has no place in competitive Apex Legends. It's not a horrible fate, but it isn't preferred, as more popular legends earn more for the game, get played more, have more cosmetics, and tend to add more to the overall apex legends experience vs. characters who have historically been poor performers. I think Vantage will take some time to implement, and she'll needs players like TSM Albralelie to vouch for her and SHOW the way like he did for Newcastle, and like HisWattson and Furia did for Seer. Yet, I can't help but feel scared to see her receive a title of "irrelevant" too soon. Either way, I know I'll be enjoying playing her in my games, but will she be worth grinding and taking to the top over all of the incredible legend choices currently available in Season 14 Hunted? That remains to be seen...
I'll certainly have a good vantage point to watch the action unfold...
