Feature animatic 'YOKAi' teaser trailer
Over the summer I've been pushing hard on completing my Story Class feature film animatic 'YOKAi'. I've cut a teaser trailer here to give you a taste of the awesome work done by my students. Not everyone made the cut and there's so much more to see but here is a glimpse of scenes done by my students and myself. It's a horror movie for kids set in contemporary Japan, like a Joe Dante film directed by John Carpenter with action seqs directed by Takashi Miike ! I wrote every scene to be fun to board and it has turned out to be quite special. Once the whole movie animatic is edited I'll put it on YouTube with each artist's name on their respective scenes as a showcase for their talents. It's a story about dealing with online bullying with a fantastical element and a pandemic backdrop.
