How to Add Columns and Rows in Excel
Quiclly add new columns and new rows in Microsoft Excel. You can add columns by selecting to the right of the column you want to add and right click and select Insert. The same is true for rows. You can add a row by selecting a row above where you want to insert a new row. Right click and select Insert to add a row. This method works for Microsoft Excel 365, 2021, 2019, 2016 and 2013.
