Bokeh Blah to Bokeh BOOM | Add extra Holiday Light "Balls" to your photos in Photoshop
'tis the season to be bokeh-filled and beautiful, so this week's 5-Minute Friday is all about how to add more holiday lights to your photographs quickly and easily in Photoshop. Fairy lights (as we call them in soggy old England) are a holiday staple but sometimes you can only get a small amount in your photograph. To fill in the gaps, you can borrow another photo's bokeh and quickly blend the scenes together with ease.
Using blend modes and simple mask theory, we'll go from bokeh blah to bokeh boom. A useful skill for this time of year and every other time you might want to add additional bokeh... through the trees at sunset, in the city at dawn or dusk, or just to go a bit crazy.
