In this video, I'll demonstrate how to create a custom AI avatars using Synthesia. The process differs for webcam and camera-generated avatars. I use a Logitech Brio 4K webcam and a Sony A6400 mirrorless camera with studio lights from Elgato. Custom avatars are optional but useful for corporate videos.
Keep in mind that Synthesia offers over 150 pre-made avatars, but custom avatars allow for personalization and can be translated into over 100 languages. I show examples of creating and customizing both types of avatars, including adding voice and design elements. The webcam avatar is quicker to produce and looks fairly natural, while the studio avatar may require color correction for skin tone.
