Android Campus Fest at Smartbridge
Universities, skilling partners and educators part of the Google Developers Educator Program hosted Android Campus Fests in their institutes to learn Android App development and facilitate the top student app of the past semester.
We kicked off Android Campus Fests, which are educator-led events to showcase apps built by students studying Android ( in their curriculums). Our learning partner Smartbridge organized the first fest at T-Hub in Hyderabad. Speakers and guest included Dr Buddha Chandrashekhar, ( Chief Coordinating Officer, AICTE, Ministry of Education), Mr. Amarender Katkam (CEO Smartbridge), Mr. Panneerselvam Madanagopal ( CIO T-Hub) and Karthik Padmanabhan (Developer Relations Lead, Google India). Around 165 students from various colleges from Telangana joined the event which also included Android Lighting Talk on Compose by Anuj Garg, Android DRE and felicitation ceremony for the top achievers from the Android Virtual Internship Program.
