Hello and welcome to my channel! I am Jerry Lai, and I am a professional photojournalist and photo editor based in Chicago, IL. I currently work as the director of photography and content of a national newspaper. You've likely seen my work in many publications including but not limited to the New York Times, USA Today, Chicago Tribune, ESPN, and Sports Illustrated.
On this channel, I want to pass along tips and tricks that I have gained in my experience as a professional photographer and photo editor working in the highest level of athletic competition. I know not everybody has access to the latest and greatest gear, nor does everybody have the best field or event level access, but that's ok! By understanding how to get the most out of your gear, and understanding best practices in photography and photo editing, I can show you how to take your sports photography - or any photography for that matter - to another level.
