Create the health check
In the Google Cloud console, go to the Health checks page. Go to Health checks.
Click Create health check.
In the Name field, enter autohealer-check .
Set the Scope to Global . ...
For Protocol select HTTP .
Set Request path to /health . ...
Set the Health criteria: ...
Click Create at the bottom.
Google Cloud provides health checking mechanisms that determine whether backend instances respond properly to traffic. This document describes how to create and use health checks for load balancers and Cloud Service Mesh.
Autohealing enables you to select which health check service will be used to determine if an Instance needs to be replaced due to unhealthiness. If an instance fails the health check selected, it is automatically replaced with a new instance.
