iRacing is the worlds most realistic online racing simulator, it got official licensed cars featuring both road and oval and laser scanned tracks. I will attempt to run the NiS open series every Thursday night or alternatively Sundays afternoon. For more info see below.
The NASCAR iRacing Series Open is the qualifying series for the NASCAR iRacing Pro Series, with the top 20 in the points after 26 weeks eligible to compete in the Pro Series. The schedule precisely mirrors the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, with three races over the course of each weekend at the virtual counterpart to the real world track where NASCAR is competing that week. Competitors can choose either the NASCAR Sprint Cup Chevrolet SS, Ford Fusion or Toyota Camry for this series and are free to develop their chassis and aerodynamic setups
Open to all iRacers with (oval) Class D 4.0 licenses and above, NASCAR iRacing Series Open is an event-style series with three races each week attracting large fields with multiple splits based on drivers' iRatings. While the majority of races are half the distance of their real world counterparts several races will be full length.
