Learn how Emirates Driving Institute relies on SonicWall solutions for complete protection against cyberthreats.
The Emirates Driving Institute (EDI) has been in operation since 1991. Today it is the largest and the most successful driving school in Dubai and the Middle East. The EDI provides driver training courses with a fleet of over 500 vehicles in different categories, from cars, buses and trucks, to forklifts and motorcycles. Since the institute’s founding over 30 years ago, more than 500,000 students have acquired their driving licenses thanks to training at the EDI.
Business Need
With a team of over 800 employees, EDI’s ongoing challenge was to effectively and consistently address advanced cyber threats, while also ensuring the company’s SD-WAN capabilities remain flexible, safe and stable. Furthermore, any solution that the company implemented needed to be easily managed.

The Emirates Driving Institute’s IT team decided to install a combination of SonicWall next generation firewalls to ensure complete protection against advanced cyber threats. This was supported further by the use of Capture Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), SonicWall’s cloud-based, multi-engine sandbox.
